CHEMICAL IDENTIFICATION
NAME: ISOPRENOID DIPHOSPHATES (a.k.a. isoprenoid pyrophosphates, i.e., isopentenyl pyrophosphates, dimethylallyl pyrophosphates, geranyl pyrophosphates, farnesyl pyrophosphates, and geranylgeranyl pyrophosphates), have no known hazardous or toxic properties. They are naturally occurring substances in all cells. Isoprenoid diphosphates are not listed as hazardous waste or as Toxic Chemicals subject to release reporting under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. Isoprenoid diphosphates are not listed on the Chemical Inventory of the Toxic Substance Control Act, and are intended for research purposes only.
